summer's finally here!!!!
our finals are over! i had my last test earlier, an oral exam for oblicon, and it was probably the worst elocution ordeal i ever went through [since the interview for the UP entrance exam around the same time last year. why does UP law school have to make my life miserable always?]. i think our teacher was forced to give me a passing grade 'cause he's my dad's brod. whatever the case, i really did BAD, i gave more wrong answers than right ones and there were long periods of dead silence in between questions because i simply didn't know the answer. another milestone to add under the "embarrassing moments" category in my life.
well, at least that's over and done with. and at least he didn't ask me to come back in May to retake the test. or i wouldn't have enjoyed the rest of April.
these are some things i want to pursue this summer. i just realized two months is too darn short for all of them:
- diving
- surfing: neil and i tried this at la union last holy week, and we ended up with several bruises and scratches and swallowing a lot of saltwater. and we developed a headache afterwards. we weren't able to surf again because the waves were too strong when we returned to the beach. someday, when i gather enough guts, i'll stand on a surfboard the next time i catch a wave.
- wallclimbing
- go to the states to see toby and sophia [my nephew and niece]
- go to puerto galera with the harkadah
- go to the gym regularly
- learn how to [i know this would sound hilarious] dance. teehee.
- fix my room: yup, cases and all.
i'll post the la union pics soon. when i find the time. like tomorrow. hehe.
