last night was papa's birthday celebration at amoranto stadium. [ or gov. benjie's birthday if you will. i also typed that intentionally so my page will turn up if anyone googles his name :D ]i am not in a position to disclose his age, so i won't do it [ he'll completely flip if i do. but from his violent reaction you could probably infer what his age is. hehe ].

apart from my immediate family, i didn't know anyone else at the party [ except for a very few familiar faces ]. it was, after all, a rotary event, so mostly rotarians comprised the crowd. chi, grace, mario and jay came also to keep me company until around 9 pm. i went home shortly after they left [ because i haven't studied for loc gov yet :P ]

the food was great! as always, it's the highlight of the night. hehe. there goes my serious commitment to go on a diet [ especially that i'll be a bridesmaid on dec. 9.. ]. i hate it when the creases on my shirt reveal how many flabs i have. bwaha. kainez.

i was finally able to watch the "tensionado" video by soapdish, which was partly shot at the condo. wala lang. bianca found the fight scenes and the bloodshed funny.. [ bianca, the same kid who, upon reaching the tender age of 3, asked her yaya, "pag-ibig? di ba bad yun?" ] there really is something wrong with kids nowadays..

better than limewire

i just recently discovered azureus, a program for downloading torrents. the tv shows are updated [ i already downloaded the latest episodes of veronica mars and will and grace! yay! ], and the transfer is a lot faster. for a 40 minute episode of veronica mars i think it only took 4 hours to download. in limewire i usually leave the computer on overnight to download an episode. and it even depends on the availability of other users. but i still use limewire for mp3s.

al! i was just browsing through my old entries when i came across your comment. anyway, two of the things you mentioned in your comment are moot and academic [ btw, that entry was written last year pa ]. about ma'm a.'s class, [ di ko na nilagay yung whole name, lumalabas pala pag sinearch!] that didn't end well bec. i was one of the students who dropped. i'm taking civpro again now but under ma'm rowie. good luck with civpro! wag niyo akong tularan. haha. yung tips, marami kami nyan. hehe.

[ i'm glad that people end up in my blog by searching substantial info. i hate it when i check the stats and see that most of the people who reach my blog are looking for a n g el l o c s i n nude pics ( i intentionally broke the letters ). :P ano buh.. ]

last night, i missed constantine to watch harry pottah [ that didn't sound quite uh, right.. ] and the goblet of fire. sorry for sounding like an overly shallow gushing school girl, pero ang gwapo talaga ni cedric diggory!! haha. mukha rin naman palang pinay si cho chang, sana nag-audition na lang ako. bwahaha. and then maybe i'll be making more money than i'll ever make after i graduate from hell school [ which is still conditional by the way ] and establish our showbiz law firm, latak inc. a.k.a. B.E.T.M.O.G.S. oh, and the movie's great too. we enjoyed looking out for movie appearance/reappearance of some familiar creatures we see around..

anyhoo, i'll go study now and prepare for snape's class later. [ kamukha nga talaga niya. hehe. ]

on second thought, i'll go look for veronica mars episode 7 on limewire..

i want to go on the 17th! [ so what if i have loc gov the next day.. ] but i don't know anyone else who wants to watch. hehe.

ARGH. only one day of school, and already i feel so stressed out, mostly because of the civpro class mix up. i was actually first in line for reg yesterday since i wanted to get the best teacher for civpro, which i got [ or so i thought ]. i came to school early this morning, complacent about the class, only to find out that sir te is not teaching the class anymore, and he is to be replaced by the prof we avoided last year, the main reason why we dropped the class before. anyway, they ended up distributing the students randomly to different classes. i ended up in ma'm rowie's class, which is okay, considering that the others still got ma'm a. [ i'm leaving out the full name; people might be googling her name hehe ], although i still couldn't forget how she lambasted me during the interview for the LAE.. haaaay.. and we already have homework in loc. gov. how crappy is that?? good thing we had free cut in that subject this afternoon. upon learning we had free cut, we proceeded to eastwood, ate at fazoli's and watched flight plan.

with the difficult teachers, it seems like i should really be pouring more effort this sem [ haha obvious ba.. :P ].. again, good luck to me.
