v-month entry
i almost didn't have an entry for feb. and i find that a bit disturbing, considering i've been religiously updating my blog since i put it up. i actually have several unfinished entries, but either i forget to finish them or i get turned off after reading them again. also, i've been busy with school and some other things. but now that the civlaw midterms is over, i can live again. =P
i said i won't post any more randomly long entries, but i'm willing to make an exception. anyway, i wasn't able to update for a whole month.
i don't know when valentine's day became such a big deal. this year, it was so publicized that you'd think it's the christmas season all over again. same amount of red blotches all over the city, same amount of gastos. pinoys just jump at every opportunity to celebrate and pig out. (even chinese new year became a reason to celebrate for non-chinese people). my family actually held a mini-celebration at my sister's house (i was informed late, 'had other plans =P) to celebrate vday, complete with decorations (by the kids). of course, there are still those heartless souls who schedule their midterms right in the heart of vday (i would not name names hehe). actually, we were supposed to have midterms on the 15th, but it didn't push through. i would rather it did though, but enough about that issue already.

on vday, mark fetched me from school and greeted me with a bouquet of flowers (from our org's flower sale. haha). aawwww.. =D 'had dinner at chateau verde then proceeded to the UP fair. surprisingly, there weren't much people (read: "rakiztas" clad in all black). we stuck around until after orange and lemons played.

second part of vday (which wasn't on vday anymore), mark reserved a table for two at lemuria where we had dinner and wine (naks wine). it was definitely a far cry from the UP fair date (even without the rakiztas). hehe.
nice masks. from divi!
(yes it's that dress again)
and then last saturday was the red promenade, blue masquerade, the youth prom at gcf. mark was one of the organizers. i was planning to ditch the event, but i'm glad that i attended. or i wouldn't have heard our two songs mark included in the playlist. =) 'had so much fun even if 95% of the attendees were half my age. hehe. 'enjoyed the presentations, the dance, and of course, the date. i skipped my high school prom (i was an angsty teenager going through an angsty phase), but last sat. made up for it.
happy 8th monthsary love...
...and belated happy chinese new year. hehehe =PLabels: church, event, mark, vday
